Obituary for Twila J. George She was born on August 24, 1934 to Kenneth and Ocie (Miller) McKitrick, who both preceded her in death. Twila had 7 brothers and 1 sister: Dale (Cori) McKitrick, deceased; Jack (Carole) McKitrick of Carey; Samuel (Toby) (Darlene) McKitrick (deceased); Gerald (Mike) McKitrick of Forest; Joseph McKitrick of Delaware; Thomas (Dee) McKitrick of Florida and Frank (deceased); and her only sister, Darlean (John) Chitwood of Findlay. Twila married the love of her life, Donald W. George, on Sept.

5, 1951. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1991.

Don and Twila brought 9 children into their sacred union: Rodney (Christine) George of Florida; Donald (Lorraine) George of Illinois; David (deceased); Randy (Charlene) George of Forest; Nina (Clay) Washburn of Florida; Daniel (Deanna) George of Forest; Valerie (James) Nulton of Texas; Duane (Hollie) George of Bluffton; and Roger George, deceased. She had 28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson.

Twila was happy to be a devout, loving wife, full-time mother and friend to all she ever met. She loved traveling with her husband state to state for antique shows. She enjoyed writing letters, doing jigsaw puzzles and solving crossword puzzles.

She especially loved singing and was a beautiful singer. An avid Bible reader, she enjoyed teaching others about the Good News of God’s Kingdom. Twila will always be remembered for her Family Famous Homemade Peanut Butter Fudge.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 10819 Ohio 53, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351, at 3:30 p.m., Jim Roszman officiating. Family will be there at 3 p.m. for any who can’t attend services, but would like to see family. The family would like to extend an invitation to share memories and enjoy a meal following services.
