Valerie Hrynyk, age 62, of McKeesport, died May 15, 2019, at home. Born July 12, 1956, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Adrian Hrynyk of McKeesport and the late Regina (Skop) Hrynyk. Valerie was a retired office manager from UPMC Monroeville.

She loved animals, camping, and cheering on any sports team Pittsburgh has to offer. Her greatest joy was spending time with her many friends, whom she loved like family. In addition to her father, Valerie is also survived by her brother, Ed (Karen) Hrynyk of Bartlett, IL; and her niece and nephews, Samantha, Cory (Heather Pauls), and Logan.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory Friday, May 17, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation National Headquarters 6520 N. Andrews Ave.
