Velma Jean Gazaway, 82, of Cumming passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018. She was a long-time attendee of Lanierland Music Park and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gazaway is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Gazaway; a daughter, Sharon Martin; and a son, Teddy Gazaway. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Lathem of Cumming; grandchildren, Tabitha Cooper, Taffy Lathem, Shane Martin and Tonya Martin; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Karen Holloway of Marble Hill, Doris Clay of Jasper, Emmajo Norrell of Free Home; a brother, Bobby Burns of Ball Ground; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt.

Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Boling officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
