Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Mrs. Flippin, died March 26, 2019 at Christian Care Center. She was born June 13, 1944 in Trezevant, TN to James Elton and Margaret Jane Scott Higdon.

Mrs. Flippin was the co-owner of Cobb’s Corner in McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Flippin, a daughter Kim Flippin, her parents, a sister Shelba McCaslin and a brother Terry Higdon. She is survived by her daughter Regina (Anthony) Haywood of Bell Buckle, TN, son Jason Flippin of Lebanon, five sisters Sue (Pat) Patton of Valrico, FL, Linda (Larry) Reed of McKenzie, Lodie (Jerry) Hudson of McKenzie, Jodie (Sam) Baker of McKenzie and Sherry (Dennis) Epperson of McKenzie, two brothers Richard (Pat) Wall of Memphis and Donald (Gail) Higdon of McKenzie, three grandchildren Rema (Mike) Yaskulski, Mignon (Blake) Denton and Casey Haywood and four great-grandchildren Michael and Eden Yaskulski and Knox and Nash Denton.
