Verlee Fischer, 92, of Cabot passed away on May 10, 2019 at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries. Born February 2, 1927 in Wireton, PA, she was the daughter of Donald Cameron Lynch and Sarah Elizabeth Alexander. Verlee had worked as a Registered Nurse at the Home for Aged Protestant Women in Wilkinsburg and Wharton Nursing Home in Tennessee.

She was a member of First Trinity Lutheran Church in Oakland, PA. Surviving are her son, Robert (Allison) Fischer of Butler, PA, her daughter, Dian (Rod) Lovitt of Aliso Viejo, CA, her grandson, Robert (Becca) Fischer, two step-granddaughters, Kasi (Kevin) Morrow and Kelly (Josh) Gamble also two sisters, Yva Cypher Schoerner of Butler and Esther Stephens of Aliquippa. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert George Fischer on August 15, 2006.

Friends will be received on Monday, May 13, 2019, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, 10:00 am at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA, with Rev. Douglas Spittel officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Royal Cemetery.
