Verna was born January 3, 1931 in Killarney, WV the daughter of Philmore and Mary (Shrewsberry) Sneed. She was a member of Sunnyside United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and her cats.

On September 6, 1947 in Besoco, WV Verna was united in marriage to James Wickline, Sr. who preceded her in death on March 8, 2009. Also preceding her in death are a son James Wickline, Jr; three brothers; seven sisters. Surviving are three children, Donna (John) Canavan of Kalamazoo, Donald (Joy) Wickline of Marion, IN, Tina (Morgan) Reed of Kalamazoo; three sisters, Margaret Walker of Virginia, Pearl Harrison of Virginia, Judy (Jerry) Bush of Virginia; seven grandchildren, James Shawn, Patrick, Keith, Suzy, Mike, Sherry, and Jason; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday February 5, 2019 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East “G” Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735. Interment will be at a later date in Ft.

Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice. www.
