Vernon Wayne Hopson, age 51 passed away Saturday May 4, 2019 at ARH hospital in Whitesburg Ky. Vernon was born in Pike county Ky and lived most his life in Pike and Letcher counties of Ky. He was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by his partner in life Larry Powell, Parents Arville and Carrie Hopson, Sisters Connie Hopson and Geanna Lee Cox.

Vernon is survived by: Nephew: Tony Mills Niece: Krystal Damron Aunt: Ruby Dutton Also survived by several cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday May 8, 2019 @ 11:00 am in the Hopson Family Cemetery, Skeetrock section with Clergymen Jimmy Hopson officiating. Burial will follow.
