Obituary for Veronica Carmona-Shawd On Monday, October 8th, 2018, Veronica Ann Carmona – Shawd, loving wife and mother of two children, began a new journey at the age of 51. Veronica loved many things about life! Most importantly was her family, making them top priority and showing unlimited love and support to everyone.

She was a very social person, making friends ultimately feel like family. She had a very kind heart and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She was a very strong willed and determined woman who put her heart in everything she did.

From work to play to love, she gave it everything she had and loved making lasting memories. She loved cheering for the San Antonio Spurs, visiting the San Antonio Zoo and celebrating during Fiesta Time! Veronica is survived by her husband, Clifford Shawd, her mother, Maria Del Rosario Flores Carmona, her children, April and Nicholas Gonzalez, her siblings, Albert Carmona Jr. and Melissa Marie Carmona.

Extended family include her Tia, niece, nephews and many cousins who were always most important to her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 starting at 4pm with Rosary at 5pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South located at 1700 S.E. Military Drive, San Antonio, Texas, 78214.
