Vickie Lynn Downing, age 65, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 7:35 P.M. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine March 30, 1954, to the late Leonard and Barbara (Hite) Downing. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Eric Downing.

She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Bradley; a son, Jeremy Downing; eight grandchildren, Erik, Bradley, Angelia (K.C.), Ryan (Ricki), Shawn (Macy), Jon, Christian and Corrinne; thirteen great-grandchildren, Eli, Brantley, Paige, Paisley, Aiden, Quil, Jarron, Brileigh, Lane, Emma, Krue, Taylynn and Emmett; three sisters, Rose Trout, Nancy (Paul) Trout and Belinda Tuttle; five brothers, Matt, Von (Margo), Wayne, John (Malita) and Ray (Linda) Downing and numerous nieces and nephews. Vickie loved elephants and spent much of her time with her grandchildren. Per Vickie’s request, her body will be cremated and no public services will be held.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
