Victor Filippi, Jr., 42, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at home. He was the beloved husband of Sara (Williams) Filippi. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Janice (Boissy) Filippi and the late Victor Filippi, Sr. Victor was the owner, along with his wife, Sara, of the Bella Luna Candle Company.

A very selfless, loving and giving man, he enjoyed the simple things in life. He was fascinated by outer space and science. He often said, “The only thing I can leave behind are good memories”.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Nikolas and Nathan Collette; a brother, Paul Baptista; a sister, Marcia Crites; his in-laws, Helen Riley and Paul Williams; his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Bibeault and Kelly Warner; five nieces, two nephews, and countless cousins who adored him. His funeral will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Requiem Eucharist at 10 a.m. in St. James Episcopal Church, 474 Fruit Hill Ave, North Providence. Burial will be private.
