Victor R. Van Hyfte, 82, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave. , Rock Island.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Victor was born on February 4, 1936 in Moline, IL, the son of Gaston and Clara (McCulloch) Van Hyfte. He married Helen Dawson on July 30, 1960. They owned and operated Silver Dollar Printers in Las Vegas.

Victor is survived by his children, Victor, Suzanne, Crystal, and Lea Anne; grandchildren, Joey, Andrew, Adrianna, and Aidan; and great grandchildren, Bethany, Jade, and Abby. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Van Hyfte; parents; and brothers, Gregory and Leonard.
