Victoria Jean Werly Walker, a native and lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, died December 2, 2018. Vickie was the daughter of Al and Alice (Hillier) Werly. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School, and from the University of Florida.

Vickie was in the first class at the University of Florida to admit women, graduating with a B.S. in Real Estate, and she remained a loyal Gator fan through all kinds of weather. Vickie was an astute business woman and Realtor, creative designer, and active community volunteer. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Walker, and is survived by her children Joseph, Mercedes, Matthew, Daniel and Lynne, grandchildren Joseph, Shawn, Madison, Walker, Gilkey, Caprice, Meredith, Matthew, Grace, Trent, Austin and Dylan, and great grandchildren Alice, Beatrice, and Kayla.

With her strength of character, hers was a life well lived, and a great inspiration to those who knew her. A memorial gathering will be held from 4-6 pm on Friday, Dec. 14 at the David C. Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg.
