Vincent M. Brunelli, 87, of Hemlock Avenue, Force, PA, died, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Pinecrest Manor of St. Marys, after a short illness. A son of the late Guy and Mary (Trentini) Brunelli, he was born in Cardiff, PA on March 21, 1931. On June 27, 1959, in St. Marks Catholic Church of Emporium, he married Mary Ann (Cummings) who survives in Force, PA.

Along with his wife, Vince is survived by: four children, Mary Ann (James) Pyne of Weedville, Joseph G. Brunelli of Clemmons, NC, Leo C. (Susanne) Brunelli of Bedford, PA and James J. (Stacey) Brunelli of Erie, PA; nine grandchildren, James, Joseph and Mary Katelyn Pyne, Michael, Guy, Kaitlin, Julia, Baylee and Jaylynn Brunelli; a brother, Albert Brunelli of Weedville; a sister, Virginia Skidmore of Mayport; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: two sisters, Katherine VanWegen and Aileen Monteleone. Vince served in the Army from 1949 – 1951.

He was a graduate of Weedville High School Class of 1949, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Clarion University, Masters in Education from IUP, and Doctorate in Education from East Coast University in Dade City Florida. Vince’s passion truly was teaching; he enjoyed serving 41 years as a 4th grade teacher in Bennetts Valley Elementary School. He also enjoyed pitching in the Valley Softball League for many years and traveling the world with his wife of 59 years.

Mostly he enjoyed spending his retirement time traveling to visit and support his children and grandchildren. A member of the Bennett’s Valley American Legion Post 978, where he was a past commander, he has lived all his life in Bennetts Valley. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 4 – 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA. Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA or the Family House of Pittsburgh (www.

familyhouse.org) and will be accepting online condolences at www. nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.
