Vincent L. Jones, 92, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2018. He was born December 8, 1925 in Wadsworth, Ohio. Vince proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He retired from B.F. Goodrich after 27 years of service where he worked as a mill operator. Vince loved gardening and fishing on his cousin’s private lake and enjoyed his horses. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Kozak; and sister, Eileen Potts.

Vince is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dortha; daughter, Libby (Fred) Barlow; sister, Linda Lance; grandchildren, Cheryl Barlow and Lisa (Eddy) Maxwell; and his best buddy, Molly. Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd. on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m., where services will be held immediately following at 7 p.m. Pastor Tal Lewis officiating.

Interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018.
