Vincent Samuel Lamartina, Jr., 69, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nettie Knight Lamartina; daughter, Nicole A. Lamartina; brother, Michael A. Lamartina.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Lamartina, Sr. and Rosalie Kramer Lamartina; sister, Joanne Lamartina. He retired from the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles after 30 years of service. During his college years, he was a member of Phi Kappa Alpha.

His interests and skills throughout his life were numerous, including such varieties as computer technology, carpentry, and electronics. Although a painter himself, he was enthusiastic about any medium of hand-crafted arts. He was also an avid collector of numerous and various items about which he was passionate, such as clocks and pocket knives.
