Obituary Service Details Vinton A. “Bud” Doll, Jr., age 73, of Belleville, IL born on July 7, 1945 in Inglewood, CA died on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Bud Doll served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Fuel Engineer at Offutt AFB in Omaha, Nebraska and Scott AFB, Illinois.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vinton A., and Gladys, nee Cook, Doll, Sr.; and his nieces, Erin Doll and Stephanie Koziol. Surviving is his wife, Mary Jean, nee Koziol, Doll; his four children, Russell W. Doll of Council Bluffs, IA, Megan A. Doll of Belleville, IL, Gregory A. (Renee) Doll of Pittsburg, PA, and Emily A. (Eric) Vasquez of Freeburg, IL; his three grandchildren, Baleyn Vasquez, Everly Vasquez, and Weston Johnson; his two brothers, James (Nancy) Doll of Omaha, NE and David (Diane) Doll, Sr. of St. Augustine, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association. Memorial services and a private burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Park, Omaha, NE at a later date. Charitable donations may be made to: Alzheimer’s Assoc.
