Adams nee Viola “Olie” Haufler of Fredericksburg passed away on Tuesday December 26th in the Windcrest Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 92 years. Viola was born April 9, 1938 in Gillespie County to Oscar and Ida Heinen Haufler Sr. Viola married A.C. Adams on August 3, 1948 in Comfort, Texas. Viola is survived by her children: Bonnie Adams of Fredericksburg Ronnie Adams of Fredericksburg Connie Frantzen of Fredericksburg Don and Linda Adams of Fredericksburg Six Grandchildren and twelve Great Grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Viola was preceded in death by her siblings: Oscar Haufler Jr., Alvin Boerner, and Louise Bohnert Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home with Rev. David Priem officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Willow City VFD, Fredericksburg VFD, Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, American Cancer Society, or to the Alzheimer’s Association. Visitation for Viola “Olie” Adams will be held on Wednesday 2nd from 10:30 to 1:00 in the Schaetter Funeral Home.
