Viola Passwaters Fleming, age 96, of Seaford, DE passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, April 29, 2019. Beloved wife of her first husband, John Passwaters and her second husband, Wes Fleming. Daughter of Ablisha and Della (Franklin) Vickers.

She is survived by 6 living children and one daughter that preceded her. Surviving children are Francis Passwaters (Sharon) of Seaford, daughter, Dorothy Powell (John) of Seaford, John Fleming of North Carolina, Dave Fleming of Maryland, Ruth O’Neal of Laurel and Pam Harman of Bridgeville, one sister, Alice Brittingham who preceded her and a brother, Preston Vickers (Ruth) of Laurel, 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Viola enjoyed cooking in her younger years, visiting family and friends, gospel music and later on enjoyed doing word find books.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at the Blades Fire Hall on 5th Street in Blades, DE on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation in her memory to the charity of your choice or the Blades Volunteer Fire Company, 300 E. 5th St, Blades, DE 19973.
