She was born on June 17, 1925 to Thomas Washington Armstrong and Stella (Ingram) Armstrong in the Mena, Arkansas. She married Charlie Earnest Walthall on March 20, 1941 in Atoka County.

He preceded her in death on April 8, 1997. Services will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Mt.
