Virgie “Marcy” M. Kennett, 76, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on September 27, 1942 in Cloverdale, Indiana the daughter of Bill Haltom and Nini Kelly Haltom. Marcy was Post Master for several years before she retired.

She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. Marcy is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters. Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, James L. Kennett, son, Brent Kennett (Sharon) of New Lebanon, Indiana, granddaughter, Gabriella Best of Sullivan, Indiana, three great-grandchildren, one sister, Sharon Galloway (Joe) of Cloverdale, Indiana, brother-in-law, Dennis White of Carmel, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
