Virgil E. Quarry Sr., 94 of Streetsboro passed away Sunday Decmber 30, 2018 at the Gardens of Liberty Park in Streetsboro. He was born in Altoona, PA to the late Frank and Pearl (Smith) Quarry on April 25, 1924. Mr. Quarry has lived in Streetsboro since 1963 and was a US Navy Veteran serving his country in WW II.

He retired in 1987 from Tow LIft in Cleveland where he worked as a mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Alberta K. on June 5, 2002, his step daugher Nancy Carver, four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his children Joset Johnson, Karen Dunkel, Virgil, Jr., Robert, Frank, his step children Pat Zerman, Ike Taylor, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sister Margie Snyder.

Calling hours will be from 12 noon on Friday January 4, 2019 unitl time of funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery Twinsburg, Ohio. Condolences and memories of Virgi.
