Obituary for Virginia Frances Ranz Virginia Frances (nee Gruber) Ranz, Resident of Harrison, passed away on June 24, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born on April 4, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Arthur and Freda (nee Voelker) Gruber. She married Stephen Conrad Ranz and they were blessed with 5 boys: Stephen, Thomas, Richard, Paul & Michael.

She enjoyed gardening and caring for her family. She did her best raising 5 rambunctious boys. She loved her family and always did the best to be there for everyone.

Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband Stephan C. Ranz; Parents: Arthur and Freda Gruber; and sister Dorothy Stolla. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Stephen (Lindy) Ranz, Thomas (Sharon) Ranz, Richard (Kemy) Ranz, Paul (Gina) Ranz, Michael (Ineva) Ranz; cherished grandchildren: David (Lindsay) Ranz, Nicholas (Devin Tyler) Ranz, Matt (Elizabeth) Ranz; dear great grandchildren: Hunter Ranz and Bonus great grandchildren: Robert, Ryland & Lilly. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

A Private Graveside will be held at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul, 1125 Bank Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214 or PAWS, 200 Charles A Liddle St, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. The charity will make the family aware of your donation.
