Virginia G. Brooks, 91, formerly of 10 Elizabeth St., Renovo, PA, m died January 9, 2019 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born April 10, 1927 in Renovo, PA she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mabel Drake Marsh. On June 28, 1946 she married Richard E. Brooks who died July 9, 2005.

Virginia was a homemaker who had at one time worked at the Renovo Hospital and the Renovo Shirt Factory. She had enjoyed bowling, swimming, ceramics, activities at the Renovo Sr. Center and scratching off lottery tickets. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Renovo and had delivered Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Bonnie (Wilbert) Hess, South Renovo, PA and Linda (John) Mazzulla, Warren PA 3 Sons: Richard E. (Paula) Brooks, Jr., Tonawanda, NY; Fred W. Brooks (and his future wife, Elaine) and Danny R. Brooks, Mifflinburg, PA 16 Grandchildren 30 Great-Grandchildren 3 Great-Great Grandchildren *** Preceded in death by: 3 sisters: Viola, Bertha and Alice 3 Brothers: Arnold, Kenneth and George Marsh A Memorial Service to honor the life of Virginia G. Brooks will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1 PM in the First United Methodist Church, Renovo, PA with Rev. Doug Conway officiating. Interment, North Bend Cemetery, North Bend, PA.

Friends will be received in the church 1 hour prior to services. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine St., South Renovo, PA 17764.
