Obituary for Virginia “Jean” (Mazurek) Trapuzzano Age 84, entered into eternal peace with Jesus on Monday, June 11, 2018 with her family by her side at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford. Dearly loved mother of Jacqueline (Craig) Schade, Michael (Jan), Patricia, Thomas Jr. (Celeste), Dennis, Timothy (Colleen), Terry and the late Robert. Beloved sister of Agnes (Joe) Vasalani.

She cherished her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Jean had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. She was very proud of her family and always put the needs of her children before all else.

Jean loved the holidays and family get-togethers. Although she always had a house full of kids, she welcomed anyone who crossed her doorstep and was simply The Best mom, friend, sister and grandmother. She was beautiful inside and out and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Family and friends received Friday Only 2-8 p.m. at the SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 165 Noble Ave. , Crafton.

Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Ascension Worship Site of St. Philip Parish, 115 Berry St., Pgh. 15205 where Jean was a longtime member. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Jean’s name to The Good Samaritan Hospice, c/o Concordia Lutheran Ministeries Foundation, 134 Marwood Rd.
