Virginia “Jean” Niemiec March 12, 1926 – March 07, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries Beloved wife of her adoring late husband Stanley “Chick”. Dear mother of Carol (Michael) Dana. Loving grandmother of Shane (Johnene) Dana.

Great grandmother of Christopher, Jacob,and Isabella. Daughter of the late Peter and Agnes Prush. Sister of ten siblings and sister-in-law to a multitude of in-laws, all of whom are dearly missed.

An aunt and uncle are still with us, celebrating the glory of life. To a host of nieces and nephews who mourn her passing, she was Aunt Jean who believed in family first and the importance of getting a good education. Her favorite room in the house was her kitchen where she gave instruction to anyone entering her sanctuary.

She was feisty, determined, and always, always willing to take care of others. She did not plan her funeral, so for all attending do a good job as mourners and let the light shine; she is watching. Visitation Friday 4 pm 8 pm with Eulogies at 6:30 at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.

In state Saturday 9:30 am until the 10 am Funeral Service at St. John the Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Haven, a 24/7 shelter for abused and or neglected foster children. The children have been praying for “Grandma Jean” and asking how she is doing for over two years.
