Virginia “Jenny” Freeman, age 87, of Dallas, GA. passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born on August 14, 1931 in Dallas, GA.

to the late Oliver Frank Crowe Sr. and Verna Shipp Crowe. Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker and a faithful member of New Canaan Baptist Church since 1950. Jenny was a loving mother, wife and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Donald J. Freeman, her parents, son, Steve Donald Freeman, sisters; Margaret Bell, Anne Hicks, and brother, Frank Crowe Jr. Survivors include her sons; Alan and Marti Freeman of Dallas, GA. , Mark and Mary Freeman of Prince Frederick, Maryland, daughter, Angie and Allen Thomas of Dallas, GA. , her nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, a very special and faithful niece, Mona Crowe, as well as several other nieces, nephews and other family members that love her very dearly.

Funeral services for Mrs. Freeman will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. George Barnett and Rev. Don Rackley officiating.

Interment will follow the service at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers; Scott Thomas, Lee Thomas, A.J. Freeman, Jesse Thomas, Matt Brumelow and Josh Thomas. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Bryan Bone. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
