Virginia K. Brown April 09, 1936 – March 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card On March 9, 2019 Kathy Brown passed away at her care home in San Jose, Calif. Kathy was born on April 9, 1936 in Madison, West Virginia. Her favorite hobbies and interest were being involved with her sons Cub Scouts and becoming a Den Mother, traveling the world and all of its countries, watching game shows and shopping with her grandchildren, but most of all taking care of her family.

Kathy’s most memorable moments in life were when she became a mother and especially a grandmother. Her biggest passions were her job at SRI International, which she started employment in 1974, and always being there for her family. Kathy’s highest accomplishment was earning the respect of her colleagues from becoming a senior buyer at Stanford Research Institute, which she later retired after 28 years of service.

She was married to the love of her life, James J. Brown since their wedding date on June 19, 1959. Kathy will always be remembered and survived by her 2 sons, James D. Brown and his wife Lynne Brown, Charles G. Brown and his wife Deborah Brown; her 3 grandchildren, Cody, Patrick and Jessica Brown, as well as the many lives she touched. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Oak Park Cemetery, 42603 Elm Ave.
