Virginia’s Obituary Virginia K. Rombach, 78, of Elsberry, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Elsberry Healthcare Center. She was born on March 17, 1941 in Pleasant Hill, IL to Harold and Lenora (Pelican) Smith. Virginia attended the local schools along with her nine siblings.

She and Robert Rombach were united in marriage and to this union were born two boys; Robert and Randy. Virginia worked for over 15 years at Wal-Mart in Ferguson and then later Troy. Virginia enjoyed reading romance novels.

She was an excellent seamstress and took care of many of the family’s alterations. Virginia was talented and could also embroider and crochet. She is survived by her loving family; her son Randy and wife Helen Rombach of Elsberry, four grandchildren; Angelina and Tim Huff of Wentzville, Dawn Marie Lewis of Elsberry, Milinda and Cody Harper of Moscow Mills, Tiffani Rombach and Brandon Galati of Lake St. Louis, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings; Verna , Dixie, Joyce, Rita, Terry, Gene and Larry, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her son Robert, her husband Robert and two siblings; Nick and Donna Vee.
