OBITUARY Virginia Lee “Jenny” Bush May 15, 1937 – January 29, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Virginia Lee “Jenny” Bush, 81, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Tues. , Jan. 29, 2018 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers in Crystal River, FL.

A native of E. St. Louis, Illinois, she was born May 15, 1937 to Harry and Chloe (Irvin) Little, one of six children. Jenny, as she was known to her friends, moved to Homosassa in 1995 from Canal Fulton, Ohio with her beloved husband of 66 years, Leonard Bush, Sr., who survives her. Virginia’s work life held several facets.

Along with her husband Leonard, she managed campgrounds in multiple locations in America, including most recently Nature’s Resort in Homosassa. She was also a former owner of several pet shops, in keeping with her love of dogs and her passion of raising exotic birds. Jenny also loved country and western and gospel music, and along with her husband Leonard, was instrumental in the inception of Nature’s Resort Church in Homosassa.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Koch; her brother Ronnie Little and two sisters-in-law, Wanda and Linda Little. Mrs. Bush is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Leonard Bush, Sr., Homosassa; her five children: Leonard Bush, Jr. (wife Becki), Homosassa; Deborah Koch, Brighton, IL. , Darrell Bush (wife Pam), Edwardsville, IL; Chloe Lake (husband Mike), Brighton, IL and Lisa Smith, Homosassa; siblings Harry Little, Keysport, IL; Harold Little, Dayton, OH; Mike Little, Carlyle, IL and Rose Oliver, Collinsville, IL, as well as a sister-in-law, Dora Little, also of Collinsville, IL; fifteen grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren, with one more on the way, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as her beloved cocker spaniel, Dixie.

Friends will be received on Sat. , Feb. 2, 2019 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M., at which time a celebration of Virginia’s life will commence with Pastor Tom “Tex” Evans of Nature’s Resort Church officiating.

Interment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa. www.
