Virginia’s Obituary Virginia “Bubbles” Lord, of Plantation, FL died peacefully on January 17, 2019 in Pompano, Florida. She was born in Pompano, Florida to Tennessee and William Riley one month before the 1926 Great Miami Hurricane. She grew up in the Nicholasville, Kentucky area and moved back to South Florida in 1944 where she met her husband of 73 years, George.

Bubbles loved to go ‘”junking” and was an avid gardener. She will be deeply missed by her husband George Lord, daughter Angela Lord Manning, son in law Robert Manning, niece Kathleen Simms and nephew Joseph Simms Jr. No services are planned. The family requests donations be made in her name to ALZ.org.
