Virginia Margaret Fox, 72 of Elkton, MD, died Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown, Middletown, DE. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 31, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Edwin and Regina Gertrude (Lawler) Fox. She previously worked at Billie’s Chuck Wagon and as an assembler with Ordinance Products.

Virginia enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, bingo and spending time with friends, especially her family. Survived by one daughter: Catherine and her husband Sidney Thomas, III of North East, MD; one grandson: Sidney (Emily) Thomas, IV of North East, MD; one great granddaughter: Lillian Thomas; sisters: Elizabeth Tinsley of Richmond , VA, Mary Magno of Vallejo, CA, Ann Ibarra of Vallejo, CA and Jane Fox of North East, MD; and one brother: Ralph Fox of Elkton, MD; goddaughter: Rachel Ibarra; Nieces she helped raise: Rosemary Dulaney, Amy Calabio, Victoria Rice and Nicole Foots; she will be missed by her many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Virginia was proceeded in death by her sister: Regina Fox Friends may call Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm.
