Obituary for Virginia M. Rininger Virginia M. Rininger, age 94, of Alliance, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Community Care Center. She was born April 1, 1924, in Alliance, Ohio, to Harold and Wilma (Haught) Sponseller. A 1941 graduate of Alliance High School, Mrs. Rininger had worked in Payroll Services at Transue and Williams Forging.

She was a member of Alliance Church of Christ, life member of Stepping Stones, and Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Rininger enjoyed working on her high school class reunion committee. Survivors include her sons, James Rininger of Hartville, and Bruce (Cora) Rininger of North Benton; grandchildren, Amy Gardiner, Kim (Eric) Kuhn, Carrie (Ron) Neff, Donald (Richelle) Rininger, and Brittani (Joseph) DiPietro; great-grandchildren, Maranda Neff, Nathaniel Kuhn; Sean Rininger, Mackenzie Rininger, Morgan DiPietro, and Colton DiPietro; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rininger in 1966; brothers, Atlee and Ray Sponseller; granddaughter, Jessica; and great-granddaughter, Amber. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Walton Schrader Funeral Home with Pastors Terry Kirsh and David Ray officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Walton Schrader Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Alliance Church of Christ, 9371 McCallum Ave. NE, Alliance, OH 44601.
