It is with great sadness to announce Virginia Theresa Nash Heil, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Virginia was a long standing resident of Pasadena, MD and founding member of Faith United Methodist Church. Virginia was a first generation US resident born to German immigrants Walter Stein and Anna (Giesler) Stein in Baltimore, MD on March 31, 1931.
She was one of seven children and was predeceased by her siblings. At the tender age of 16, she married Louis Vernon Nash from Baltimore, MD and remained his beloved wife residing is Pasadena until his death on September 10, 1993. Their union produced five children and they were predeceased by their first born, Louis Vernon Nash Jr. In 1996, Virginia married a second time to Joseph Burton Heil Jr. of Annapolis, MD and was his loving wife until his death on October 10, 2011.
In 2014, Virginia found love a third time and was a devoted and loving companion until her passing to William E. Yeager, resident of Pasadena, originally from Morehead City, NC. Virginia was a founding and active member of Faith United Methodist Church of Pasadena, MD. She served as congregation lay leader for many years as well as committee representative, choir member and financial contributor.
She strongly believed that church strengthened communities and continually strived to support her fellow parishioners and local causes. To say Virginia had a zest for life is an understatement. She enjoyed nothing more than putting on her dancing shoes and socializing to a lively band with her many friends and loved ones.
She loved wildlife and found immense joy in her beloved cat, Jack. Her laugh and smile was as infectious as much as her will was strong and that combination found her much happiness in her lifetime. Virginia is survived by her four children and their spouses, John Wesley Nash and Kathleen (Wasser) Nash of Riva, MD, Sharon Nash Kroth and James Kroth of Winston Salem, NC, Sandra Nash of Manassas, VA and Sheila (Nash) Taggart and Kevin Taggart of Washington, NJ as well as five grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Friday June 8, 2018 from 5-9 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
