Vonda Lee Owens, age 86, passed away on February 9, 2019. She was born in West Frankfort, IL on March 5, 1932 to the late Thomas Mather and Fannie Curry. Vonda was a great cook and loved her pet cats throughout her life.

Most of all, she had a family first mentality and lived for the moments she got to spend with them all. She is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her. Vonda was the beloved wife of the late Izar Owens, the loving mother of Thomas (Susan), Bob, Judy (Ross, deceased) Flannery, Sandy (Robert, deceased) Ford, Sam (Eleanor), Laurie (James) Bousquet, Connie (John) Wootton, and Tony; the proud grandmother of Brenda, Lance, Genny, Kelly, David, Anthony, Ryan, Johnny, and Lana; and a cherished great-grandmother of 10; and a beloved sister of the late Joanne and Ed.
