Obituary for Walter Allen Cook Walter Allen Cook, 61, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away in his home on October 20, 2018. Born on September 3, 1957, he was the son of Patricia Cook of California, MD and the late Walter Cook. Walter is survived by his companion Cathy Boyd, of Mechanicsville, MD.

As well as siblings; Michael Cook, Sharon Lowery (Brian), Ruby Kokkalis of Bremerton, WA whom he considered like a daughter, niece Kasey Honeycutt, nephews Joshua Lowery, Shane Lowery, and godson Frank Bottalico. He graduated from Southern High School in 1975. Walter was working as an elevator inspector for Metro Elevator Inspection Service, he was retired from IUEC (International Union of Elevator Constructors) Local 10 in November, 2012.

Walter enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, hunting, and loved the Redskins. He was a member of the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Mt.

Zion United Methodist Church Mechanicsville, MD with Pastor Steve Humphrey officiating. Interment will be private. A gathering will follow at the Mechanicsville Fire Department Social Hall 28165 Hills Club Road Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
