DURHAM, Walter E., born May 14, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio, was called home on July 8, 2018. Preceded in death by his wife, Veeda Durham; parents: Georgene Wilder and stepfather, Jim Wilder, Gowdy Durham and stepmother, Julia Durham; sisters, Elaine Bolar, Laura Thomas; sister-in-law, Shelia Harris. He is survived by his children, Maurieta (Todd) Washam, Brandon Durham; brother, Robert Durham; sister, Marcella Washington; grandchildren, Antoine (Marisha) and Danielle Edmonson; great granddaughter, Montana Edmonson; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service 11 am Friday, July 20, 2018 at Bethel M. B. Church, 401 S. Paul L. Dunbar St. Rev. Xavier Johnson officiating. Visitation 9-11 am.

Family will receive friends 10-11 am.
