OBITUARY Walter “Gene” Boyd June 7, 1936 – July 16, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Winter Haven: Walter E. (Gene) Boyd, 82 died Monday, July 16, 2018 at Lakeland Medical Center. He was born in Winter Haven on June 7, 1936 and was a lifelong resident; he worked in the citrus and trucking industry. Gene was a member of Village Church of God, Winter Haven.

He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Boyd, he is survived by his Son & Daughter in law Terry and Shelly Boyd, Son & Daughter in law Tony and Marsha Boyd all of Winter Haven, Brothers Quinton of Tavares FL, Thomas of Crystal River, FL Sister Agnes McTeer of Haines City, 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren Visitation will be Thursday (7/19) 6 till 8pm at Ott-Laughlin, Winter Haven, with funeral service at 10:30 Friday (7/20) at Village Church of God 6 Colman Road, Winter Haven Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
