Walter Leonard Martin (78) called to eternal rest December 10, 2018 at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Walter was born October 19, 1940 to the Late Leo Johnson and Ruby Mae Austin. Walter accepted Christ at an early age.

He served in the United States Army. After Walter’s tour duty, he was employed by Ohio Crankshaft for more than 20 years. He also spent many years driving for Americab.

Walter was an avid bowler and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his Parents Ruby Mae Martin and Leo Johnson. His wife Carol Marie Martin.

His son Orlando Martin, His brother Johnny Johnson, and his grandson Michael Kidd. Walter leaves to cherish his loving memories: Ten Children, Walter Cummings, Theodora Cummings, Nancy Cummings-Hodges (Herbert), Priscilla Cummings, Arlene Willis (Eddie) Jacqueline Cummings, Oleta Cummings, Makeba Martin-Williams (Carlos), Trina Butler and Vanessa Mallot. Grandfather of Dennis, Travell, Ishea, Jadale, Catrell.

Darius, Tony, Carol, Raheem, Alonte’, Christian, Elmore, Bianca, Diamond, Cardeya, Shaun, Orlando, Layshaona, Marckayle, Ciera, Carry Jr. Jalin and Etayviea. And a host of great grandchildren, relatives and many many friends.
