Obituary Walter Lee “Walt” Ward, 72, of Highway 246 North Hodges, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born February 22, 1946, in Greenwood County, He was a son of Naomi Turner Ward and the late James Franklin Ward, Jr He was a graduate of Greenwood High School.

Formerly employed as a superintendent with Greenwood Mills, Walt was a retired manager from Defender Services and Ward’s Auto Sales. Walt was of the Baptist Faith.
