Morven – Mr. Walter Leon Melton, Sr., 69, died Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Galilee AME Zion Church with Rev. Luther McLendon officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be gathering at the home of Diane Melton, 236 Eddie Melton Road in Morven.
