OBITUARY Walter R. Bernardini November 26, 1920 – December 18, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Walter R. Bernardini 98 of Secaucus passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at the Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus. He was born in North Bergen, and has resided in Secaucus for the last 55 years. Walter was an Insurance Adjuster for many years before retiring in 1986.

He served his country in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 118. Walter was a volunteer at the Hackensack Medical Center for 25 years. He was predeceased by his brothers Anthony and Raymond Bernardini.

He is survived by his beloved wife Elaine Ahrendt Bernardini; his step sons Steven and his wife Christine Ahrendt and Robert Ahrendt; his grandchildren Maximilian and Elisabeth; and his 6 nieces. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 10 AM at the Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Rd. Secaucus.

Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Friends may attention the visitation on Friday from 4 to 8 PM.
