Obituary for Walter W. Medlock Walter W. Medlock, age 88 years, passed away at Covenant Village on Tuesday evening, September 11, 2018. A native of Boaz, Alabama, Mr. Medlock was a graduate of the Georgia Military Academy and earned his Bachelor Degree from Jacksonville State. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1951-1953 during the Korean War.

He raised his family in Finneytown, Ohio and retired as a Supervisor for Procter & Gamble Company. He was an avid fan of all things “Alabama Crimson Tide”. Beloved father of Frederick Medlock, Walter (Mary Anne) Medlock, Sandra (Mark) Ramey-Jungkunz and the late Gregory (Rubee) Medlock.

Loving grandfather of Jesika Medlock; Jackson and Grant Medlock; Amanda and Travis Ramey; step grandfather of Ian Baker, Hunter and Ethan Layne and great grandfather of Robert “Bobby” Bunce, Jr. and Micah Bunce. Devoted cousin of W. A. Howell of Douglasville, GA. Passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

Age 88 years. Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy on Tuesday, September 25 from 5 PM until time of funeral service at 7:30 PM.

Burial with Military Honors will be held Friday, September 28 at 10:00 AM at the Boaz City Cemetery, 714 Snellgrove Avenue, Boaz, Alabama 35957. Memorials may be directed to the P.E.M.
