Father of Tanya Yanakeff, Scott (Shelly) Yanakeff and Tamara Yanakeff. Grandfather of the late Neil and survived by Nicholas (Becky), Ryan (Kathy), Holley, Niko and Colton. Great-Grandfather of Aubrey, Tyler, Hunter, Ethan, Brady, John, Ava, Azalia, Hendrix and Gracyn.

Brother of Margaret Barnett. He worked for Clawson Concrete for many years, mostly as a diesel mechanic. A Korean War Veteran and served as a Military Police Officer in the Army.

He was a member of the V.F.W. Corporal Richard W. Menge Post 6756 in Center Line, Michigan. Memorial Services will be held on April 16th at 12:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
