McLendon, 66, of Temple, passed away on March 11, 2019 at home. She was born on September 11, 1952 in Temple, Texas. Mrs. McLendon was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Ruth Davis; husband, Thomas J. McLendon, Jr.; and a granddaughter.

She is survived by sons, Sean Jackson and Thomas D. McLendon; siblings, Christine Mills, Jesse Jackson, Sharon Roberts, and Mary Davis; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 23, at Heritage Funeral Home, Harker Heights. Interment will follow at 2:30PM on Monday, March 25, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
