OBITUARY Wanda Rowe Gaskins March 31, 1950 – December 27, 2018 Wanda Rowe Gaskins, 68, of New Bern, passed away at home on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She worked in home health care and hospice for 40 years before retiring in 2012. Above all, she was a good wife, mother and grandmother.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Henry Lee Gaskins, Jr.; her daughter, Crystal Collins (Jeff); her grandson, Geoffery; her brothers, Harvey Rowe (Tracy) and Bruce Rowe (Jilayne); and her sister, Dorothy Wynn (Eddie). She was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Rowe. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 2nd at Cotten Funeral Home with the Rev.

Dr. Richard Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas PlaceMemphis, TN 38105.
