Ward Charles See, 86, a resident of Simeon Dewitt Apartments passed away on Monday, October 15,2018 at Oswego Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1932 to the late Ottmer and Hazel (Smith) See and was a lifelong resident of the Scriba area. He was a graduate of the Oswego High School.

Ward was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Northern Ready Mix after many years of service. In retirement, he enjoyed his weekly trips to the casino and his NY Yankees.

In addition, before age took its toll, he enjoyed repairing small engines, where he developed many friendships. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years Eleanor (Miner), his brother Frank, his sister Loretta (Drodz) and a step mother Mildred (Genung). Surviving are a daughter Anne See of Oswego, three sons Michael (Judith) See of Ithaca, Mark (Martha) See of Scriba, Timothy (Diane) See of Scriba, sisters Ruth Scandura of Scriba, Janet (Al) Emmons of Hannibal and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 at the Peck’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00-11:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
