Warren Howard “Buster” Watts November 03, 1953 – March 10, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Warren Howard “Buster” Watts, 65, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:53 P.M., Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Buster had been owner and operator of Watts Towing from 1987 until 2012. He was of the Protestant faith.

He was born November 3, 1953 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Lloyd and Wilma (Longshore) Watts. He married Sheilah Gail Miller on October 7, 1972 at Dowell, IL and she preceded him in death on July 16, 2002. He is survived by one son – Warren Travis Watts and Cindy of Du Quoin, one daughter – Misty Watts of Dowell, special friend – Nell Harris of Glen Carbon, two brothers – Lloyd “Bud” Watts and wife Joan of Elkville, and Paul Allen Watts and wife Milly of Tamaroa, one sister – Marsha Watts of Du Quoin, brothers-in-law – Ted Vonderhide of Du Quoin, Ralph Miller and wife Joann of Elkville, Harold J.R. Miller and June of Elkville, and Rodger Miller and wife Anna Belle of Vergennes, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three sisters – Judith Voyles, Brenda Vonderhide and Rosemund Watts. Memorial services will be at 7:00 P.M., Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Phillip White officiating.

Friends may call from 4 P.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. Burial will be in the Hallidayboro Cemetery at Hallidayboro at a later date. Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
