Obituary for Waunita Henry Hodges Waunita “Nita” Henry Hodges, 94, a native of Duncan, Oklahoma and long-time resident of Houma, passed away on January 2, 2019. As per her wishes a private memorial service was held. She is survived by her son, Ray L. Hodges and wife Annette; grandchildren, Jacob Hodges, Jeremy Hodges, Angela Scott, and Taylor “T.J.” Hodges, their spouses and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Hodges; parents, Ray and Irene Wolf Henry; brother, Robert Henry; sisters, Edna-Ruth McCarthy and Linda Garcia. She was an avid artist her whole life and was a founding member of the Terrebonne Parish Art Guild. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, waterfalls and she loved her dogs.
