Stanavich, 60, of Amsterdam, New York passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1958 in Amsterdam, New York a son of the late William and Stephany Kulpa Stanavich. A lifelong resident, he was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School – Class of 1976.

Mr. Stanavich was a employee of the New York State Canal Corporation for many years before retiring in 2012. Wayne was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. On May 11, 1991, he was united in marriage to Wendy A. Raab Stanavich who survives.

He is also survived by his daughter Brittny; his brother Rodney (Alice) Stanavich; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Jason and daughter, Trish. At Wayne’s request, there will be no calling hours or services.
