Wayne’s Obituary Wayne Hamner, age 62, of Graceville, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wheaton with Rev. Cheryl Berg officiating.

Organist will be LeAnn Bjornson with special music by Parker and Jasper Stanley and Zoey Wilson. Interment will be in Siloah Lutheran Cemetery, Parnell Township, Minnesota in the spring. Pallbearers will be Jerry Koehntop, Danny Koehntop, Dave Schluter, Bruce Barker, Wayne Anderson and Dennis Elton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kris and Ben Anderson. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 3rd from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a 5:30 p.m. Prayer Service and Time of Sharing at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Visitation will continue Monday morning one hour prior to service time at the church.

Wayne Arnold Hamner was born on June 8, 1956 in Ortonville, Minnesota to Howard and Elvera (Westman) Hamner. He graduated from Wheaton High School in 1974. After his education he worked for a farmer for twelve years before joining his father and brother in 1985.

Wayne was born to farm and lived to farm. Farming was his life. Wayne is survived by one brother Rae (Marcia) Hamner of Graceville, MN; Marcia has two sons: Justin (Angie) Stanley and their daughters Olivia and Ashley of Watertown, SD; and Corey (Jamie) Stanley and their daughter Parker and son Jasper of Sioux Falls, SD.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents: Howard (1992), Elvera (1998) and one brother John (1959).
